About the Team
We are a like-minded, experienced group of professional educators, executives and managers who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. Many of us have worked together before and are excited to reunite to build a truly unique Kindergarten experience for Singaporean and expatriate children and their families.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Louise Grant is a respected educator with over 30 years experience in education. After teaching at schools in Sydney for 9 years, Louise relocated to Singapore as the Foundation Head of Primary at the Australian International School.
In 1996, Louise and her husband David moved to Malaysia where she held a number of leadership positions at Alice Smith School, a British international school. During her time in Malaysia, Louise achieved a Master of Education.
Returning to Singapore in 2003, Louise was appointed Senior Curriculum Coordinator at United World College of South East Asia. Following this, she was appointed the Foundation Principal of SJI International Elementary School, Singapore. Louise has spent the last four years as Principal of St Mary’s Primary School, in rural NSW.
Chia Puay Leng
Director, Chinese Programmes
Prior to joining Repton, Chia Puay Leng was the Head of Chinese at St. Joseph’s International Institution Elementary School (2010 – 2018) and the Head of Asian Languages at St. Joseph’s International Institution (2007 – 2009).
Puay Leng was instrumental in developing the Chinese curriculum in both schools. At SJII ES, she led a team of dedicated teachers to create a conducive and effective environment for learning Chinese.
Puay Leng taught students from the ages of 4 to 18 at the United World College of South East Asia. She worked with preschool children from the ages of 18 months to 6 years when she was the director and centre supervisor at the Experiential Learning Centre.
As the senior producer at the Ministry of Education (1999 – 2000), she directed in-house videos and educational programmes.
Eric Yee joined CES in 2017 and was transferred to Repton Singapore in 2018. His responsibilities now involve the operations of the Repton Schoolhouse in Singapore.
Prior to that, Eric was managing a privately held company for over 20 years with its distribution and retail operations in Singapore and Malaysia. This included frequent travel to Asia, Europe and the US. His expertise includes coordinating sales, marketing, operations and also control of the profit and loss analysis of the organisation.
He has deep industry knowledge in the retail and real estate sectors.
Mr Yee graduated with a Degree in Business Management, and followed that with a Master in Business Administration from the University of Queensland, Australia.
